Finlay Street SW6

Project completed: Sep 2020

Time to complete: 2 weeks

Description: The project brief was to redesign and install the main bathroom within this 3 storey Fulham property, making use of the eves section which was previously used as an attic storage room.

The project involved:
• Redesigning and reconfiguring the lighting within bathroom to incorporate adequate downlighters, mood and niche lighting
• We installed an underfloor heating system, with wireless programmable thermostat to control the floor and radiator temperature within the room
• A bespoke his-and-hers wall-hung basin, spanning 1500mm with wall-mounted basin taps and LED mirrored cabinet above
• Wetroom area with ceiling-mounted rainforest shower head, 2-way diverter mixer and hand-held shower wand. Minimalist floor to ceiling glass enclosure with a bespoke shower seat
• Slate-effect tiling
• Plastered and decorated throughout in a Farrow & Ball colour scheme. We created a Morroccan-style entrance into the old attic space
• We converted the old eves section into an area suitable for a freestanding stone bath, floor standing bath tap, together with floor-level mood lighting and bespoke carpentry in the low-level eves space to maximise storage space for the home
